This Cat.6A U/FTP network cable support bandwidth up to 500MHz and features a snagless design with gold plated contacts for ethernet standards up to 10GBase-T. This Cat.6A cable combines both shielded and unshielded, being overall unshielded with foil shielded single pair shielding (U/FTP). These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification.

A U/FTP cable (Unshielded/Foiled Twisted Pair) is a type of network cable used in structured cabling for ethernet, telecommunications and AV distribution. It combines the features of both unshielded and shielded cables to balance performance, flexibility, and protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Each cable consists of 4 twisted pairs individually wrapped in a covering of high quality, strong, aluminium/polyester foil tape providing an individual screen for each pair. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extensive periods of time. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal.
